Kwang Hoon Lee is an urban designer and architect based in New York and Seoul. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Korea University, and a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he worked as a Research Assistant to Prof. Peter Rowe.
Kwang is the recipient of several international design awards and prizes, including the International VELUX Award (2016), the Junglim Architecture Award (2018), the Central Glass International Design Competition (2018), and the Young Architects Competitions - YAC (2020). His work has been featured in major publications such as SHINKENCHIKU, The Architectural Review, and KBS NEWS.
Kwang’s professional experience includes BIG in Copenhagen, MVRDV in Rotterdam, and ARCHIAHN | Jerde Partnership in Seoul. Kwang currently works at SHoP Architects in New York, and is a registered architect in the state of New York.
