Kwang Hoon Lee is an urban and architectural designer based in New York and Seoul. Kwang obtained his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Korea University in Seoul, and received a Master of Architecture in Urban Design degree from Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Peter Rowe.
Kwang has won renowned architectural competitions and prizes, including the International Velux Award in 2016, Junglim Architecture Award in 2018, Central Glass International Design Competition in 2018, and Young Architects Competitions (YAC) in 2020. His works have been introduced in various media including SHINKENCHIKU, The Architectural Review, and KBS NEWS.
Kwang’s professional experience includes BIG in Copenhagen, MVRDV in Rotterdam, and ARCHIAHN | Jerde Partnership in Seoul. Kwang is currently working at SHoP Architects in New York.
