Nestled between rocks and a dense forest, House with a Bridge is designed to evoke the sensation of wandering through the woods. The project tries to minimize its architectural intervention to respect untouched nature of existing rocks and trees. A grounded south wing, which features solid stone walls and carefully framed views that anchor the space in its natural setting. In contrast, the elevated north wing allows ferns and ground cover to flourish beneath, boasting expansive glass walls that reveal panoramic views of the forest. The bridge connecting the two wings enhances this immersive experience, merging the natural surroundings with the architectural form. This integration fosters a seamless connection between the built environment and its setting, creating a living experience that is both harmonious and inviting, and thus blurs boundaries between architecture and nature.
