Mangwon-Dong is located in the center of Seoul, filled with outdated multi-housing buildings. Since the town's housing units are low cost, young artists started to move to Mangwon-Dong and created a community that involves various fields of art. However, one of the characteristics of these housing units is that there is a rooftop space on the top of each building. In Mangwon-dong especially, such rooftop spaces work as a gathering space for residing artists. They share their inspiration or spend their time with various activities. The project expects these rooftop spaces can be a strategy to rehabilitate an outdated town, along with several strong axis that contains the identity of the site.
